Join a Leading Roofing Merchant

Roofing Gear, part of the Independent Builders Merchants Group (IBMG), is looking for a Sales Supervisor to lead our Trade Counter and Internal Sales teams. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with merchanting or roofing sector experience who enjoys building customer relationships, driving sales, and leading a successful team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support the Trade Counter and Internal Sales teams.
• Drive sales growth through proactive customer contact and quotation follow-up.
• Build strong relationships with roofing contractors and trade customers.
• Support the Branch Manager in achieving sales and profit targets.
• Identify new business opportunities and grow existing accounts.
• Monitor sales performance using Power BI and branch reports.
• Manage margins and ensure enquiries are processed efficiently.

What We’re Looking For

• Sales experience within a Roofing Merchant, Builders Merchant or Construction Supply environment.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Team leadership or supervisory experience.
• Good commercial awareness and margin management skills.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to winning new business.
• Roofing product knowledge is highly desirable.

Working Hours

Week 1: Monday–Friday, 07:00–16:30
Week 2: Monday–Friday, 07:00–16:30 + Saturday, 08:00–12:00
