The Role

We are looking for a dependable IT Procurement Coordinator to join our team in Barnstaple Head Office, supporting colleagues across Technology, Finance, suppliers and other business stakeholders.

You’ll play a key role in ensuring purchase activity is well governed, and contract information is maintained.

Key Responsibilities

  • Day to day commercial administration:
  • Obtaining quotations
  • Maintenance of a contracts register, helping monitor renewal timelines, commercial terms and supplier commitments, and ensuring contract owners have the information they need to make timely decisions.
  • Procurement coordination
  • Supplier and licence management
  • Managing software licence compliance and administration
  • Coordinate hardware disposals
  • Ensure appropriate stock levels of IT hardware is maintained to support business demand and continuity.
  • General administration tasks to support other members of the team when required.

What Were Looking For

  • Previous experience in procurement, purchasing, contract administration, supplier coordination, finance administration or a similar support role. IT experience is useful but not essential, as we are happy to consider candidates who have gained relevant transferable experience in other sectors.
  • Highly organised and dependable
  • Sound commercial and financial awareness
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical approach
  • Ability to work independently whilst building effective working relationships across the Group
  • Experience or knowledge of IT asset management lifecycle processes
  • Understanding or appreciation of the ITIL framework, particularly Asset Management, Request Fulfilment and Configuration Management, would be advantageous.
