We’re looking for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver with a HIAB/Crane Licence to join our busy Worthing branch.
As the face of our business on the road, you’ll deliver building materials safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. When required, you’ll also support the branch and yard team to help ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Delivering building materials to customers safely and on time
- Operating a HIAB crane to load and unload materials
- Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks
- Completing delivery paperwork accurately
- Providing excellent customer service at delivery points
- Ensuring compliance with transport, health & safety, and company procedures
- Supporting yard and branch operations when required
- Working closely with the branch team to meet customer needs
What We’re Looking For
Essential
- Class 2 (Category C) Licence
- Valid HIAB / Crane Licence
- Valid CPC Qualification
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous HGV Class 2 driving experience
- Strong health and safety awareness
- Excellent customer service skills
- Good communication and time management skills
- Reliable and professional approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable
- Builders’ merchant experience
- Knowledge of building materials
- Forklift Truck Licence
Working Hours
Week 1
- Monday to Friday: 7:00am – 5:00pm
Week 2
- Monday to Friday: 7:00am – 5:00pm
- Saturday: 8:00am – 12:00pm
