About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and skilled HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team at our Godstone Taylors Hill branch.

This is primarily a driving role, delivering building materials to our customers across the local area. When not out on deliveries, you will support the team with general yard duties and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver building materials safely and efficiently to customers
  • Ensure all deliveries are accurate and on time
  • Comply with all road transport and safety regulations
  • Carry out daily vehicle checks (pre- and post-trip inspections)
  • Keep accurate delivery and vehicle records
  • Assist with loading and unloading of vehicles
  • Support the yard team during quieter driving periods
  • Provide excellent customer service at all times

Requirements

  • HGV Class 2 Licence (essential)
  • HIAB licence preferred (training available)
  • Previous experience as a delivery driver
  • Strong driving skills and safety awareness
  • Good time management and organisational ability
  • Positive attitude and team player

Working Hours

  • Week 1: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 5:00pm
  • Week 2: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 5:00pm, plus Saturday 8:00am – 12:00pm
